It is barely a 20 minutes’ walk from the “Heart of Shimla” or the Shimla Mall. Marley Villa, in the heart of Shimla was built in the mid 19th century. The earliest records of Marley Villa date back to the year 1860, when an application was made to the Himachal Authority for carrying out of renovation and refurbishing of the cottage. In the year 1966 Marley Villa was bought by Justice Jindra Lal (The then Judge of the High Court of Punjab) as his summer residence.
